Family owned and operated since 2014, we’re proud to balance Portland’s structures with its abudant greenery. President Jeremy Wagener, an experienced Arborist, started our company out of his true love of trees and dedication to the local community.
We love to share our knowledge with clients and find the best solutions to their problems. Since we rely on word-of-mouth, our number one priority is to give every customer a great experience. Our office team, Frank (Project Manager), Lesley (Office Manager), Sharon (Front of House), Maddie (Executive Assistant), Sydney (Co-owner) go above and beyond to keep you in the loop on your tree service project and answer all your questions.

Our highly skilled crew handles industry machines with caution, expertise, and safety. We take pride in being innovative, quality-driven, and precise while providing superior customer service. We work in all weather (this is Oregon, after all!) and take pride in being respectful, courteous, and friendly. We’re also pretty proud of our awesome, top-notch equipment! Really glad I went with Urban Timber Tree Service. I live on a heavily wooded lot and have had a lot of tree services out and Urban Timber was the only one to not suggest cutting them all down. They took the time to examine each tree and … More the risk they posed.I ended up doing two day rates with them and their crew was on time and very efficient. They also brought in very expensive high end machinery which helped getting more work done.Price wise, I felt like I got a good deal for the amount of work that got done. To put things into perspective, what I paid for 1 day was less than some quotes for removing just 1 tree from other companies.I would recommend Urban Timber to do any pruning and tree removal you may need. -

I live in Laurelhurst and have a beautiful, giant, but very old deodar cedar in my yard. We noticed recently that a section of it appeared to be dying, so we contacted various tree services about removing it. Urban Timber recommended … More that we attempt first to try to save it by using plant regulator injections into the root system. That was done in March of this year and by the end of April the tree had already had significant new growth and appears now to be on the road to a full recovery.
